Thomas was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He attended the State University of New York in Plattsburgh where he obtained his degree in Fine Arts and Art History in 2001. Before making his way to Austin, Thomas gained experience working as a metal smith at a bronze foundry in Philadelphia. While there, he assisted in the casting and assembly of the World War II Monument that is now displayed on the mall in Washington D.C. He made his way to Richmond, VA where pursued his interest in historical renovations, both residential and commercial. After five years in Virginia, Thomas moved along to warmer weather and found himself and a girl in Austin, TX. Finally home, Thomas continues his love of the process of creating and the rewards of working with the tangible.
